Our Team

Salinna oversees the creative and strategic direction of House of Kin. She received a B.F.A. in Graphic Design from Georgia State University (‘18). She worked at large marketing firms and small boutique agencies, designing brand identities, websites, and production assets for small business owners to Fortune 500 companies in the food and drink, airline, real estate, and technology sectors including Chic-fil-A, Delta Airlines, JLL, CBRE, and E3. Her formal background in design is fused together with her passion for business and lifestyle. After freelancing for smaller businesses on the side, she founded House of Kin to help start-up brands get off the ground by providing an alternative to big agencies — and to take her dogs to work.

Lacey directs all artistic aspects of a project and leads production design. She articulates the vision and guides our creative team. lacey received her B.F.A. in Graphic Design from Georgia State University (‘18). (You’re going to see a lot of alumni on our team!) prior to joining House of Kin, Lacey worked at a social media marketing firm — producing hundreds of brand identity and social media assets, from graphics to animations to photography, for clients in the lifestyle, beauty, and pet sectors including United Veterinary Care, Petland, and Furry Babies. She’s experienced in collaborating with fluid creative teams in fast-paced environments and brings a positive attitude, encouraging mindset, and a library of memes to our team.

Jeff is a Emmy award winning brand strategist, designer, and writer, and he’s also an assistant professor in Graphic Design at Georgia State University, where he teaches Editorial Design, Design for TV and Film, and Corporate identity. Jeff received an M.A. in Film production from USC Film School (‘91) and his B.F.A. in Graphic Design from the University of Illinois at Urbana- Champaign (‘83). He personally designed and directed marketing strategies, on-air packaging, and promotional campaigns. He has over twenty-five years experience building brands, promoting advanced products, and writing promos in the global entertainment industry for brands including Microsoft, Ericsson, CNN, AMC, A&E, Comcast, DirecTV and CBS.

Indigo is the user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) star of the team. She received a B.F.A. in Graphic Design from Georgia State University (‘17) and received a certificate in User Experience Design from General Assembly (‘20). With her focused concentration, Indigo’s developed a in- depth skill set designing mobile interfaces and web applications for brands. She’s worked with a number of start-ups and design teams where she took established UX/UI design processes, designed websites on WordPress, Webflow, and Squarespace, and conducted user research and interviews.

Christopher leads the creative vision and process of animation at House of Kin. He received a B.F.A. in Graphic Design (‘18) and A.S. in Science (‘13) from Georgia State University. Before pursuing graphic design, he attended SCAD where he studied the animation production process and illustration foundations. Christopher also operates as the lead of marketing for Oz publishing, a print and online directory, where he manages and designs a plethora of ads, catalogs, and editorial magazine spreads for the film and entertainment industry in Georgia and other states in the Southeast.

Celia is House of Kin’s key animator, illustrator, and night owl. She received a B.F.A. in Animation (‘19) from SCAD. Celia’s well-versed and proficient, technically and creatively, in 2D animation, 3D animation, character rigging, and illustrating in multitude of styles. She’s worked alongside diverse groups of creatives and animators on a variety of start-up projects and won awards for animating game concepts at SCAD Fest. While working with House of Kin, Celia pursues other personal animation projects such as animating and rigging virtual YouTubers.
